Questions about the origin of the universe, the creation of Earth and its inhabitants, and the birth of the cosmos have intrigued humanity for centuries. Many organised religions offer explanations rooted in the concept of a divine being, or ‘god’ responsible for creation. These belief systems often portray this ‘god’ as a separate entity residing in a heavenly realm high above the skies. This dualistic view of a distant deity forms the core of many organised religions.
