7. The Quintessence – Internalising Krishna’s Gitopadesha
DESTROYING THE INVINCIBLE ENEMY
एवं बुद्धेः परं बुद्ध्वा संस्तभ्यात्मानमात्मना |
जहि शत्रुं महाबाहो कामरूपं दुरासदम् || ३ ४३ ||
evam buddheh param buddhvaa
samsta-bhyaat-maana-maatmanaa
jahi shatrum mahaa-baaho
kaama ruupam duraasadam (SBG 3:43)
Thus, O mighty-armed one, having recognized the immortal SELF as being superior to the intellect and having strengthened yourself by yourSelf, kill the invincible enemy in the form of lust and desire. (SBG 3:43)
