2. Kill Fear and Anger
Avoid those three gates of ‘hell’ and have a great life ahead.
एतैर्विमुक्तः कौन्तेय तमोद्वारैस्त्रिभिर्नरः |
आचरत्यात्मनः श्रेयस्ततो याति परां गतिम् || १६ २२ ||
etair-vimuktah kaunteya
tamo-dvaarai-stribhir-naraha
aachara-tyaat-manah shreyas-
tato yaati paraam gatim
(SBG 16:22)
When liberated from the three gates of hell, one strives for Self-realisation and thus attains the Supreme goal. (SBG 16:22)
