About Tavamithram Sarvada
Clarity, fearlessness and practical Vedanta
Krishna, known as Tavamithram Sarvada, is a Germany-based writer, educator and student of Advaita Vedanta whose work focuses on the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, the primary Upanishads, the nature of the mind and the practical application of self-knowledge.
Who is Tavamithram?
A personal platform shaped by study, teaching, experience and the conviction that clear thinking can free the mind from fear, confusion and inherited belief.
My name is Krishna, and I use the name Tavamithram Sarvada. This platform began in February 2014 as a place to share my understanding of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, the Upanishads and Advaita Vedanta in direct and accessible language.
Before this work took its present form, I spent five years as a college lecturer teaching foreign languages in India. That period strengthened my connection with young people and my interest in helping others think independently, develop confidence and approach life with greater clarity.
My interests extend across philosophy, psychology, parenting, music, history, filmmaking, automobiles, flying and culinary art. These varied experiences continue to shape the way I explain Vedanta, not as an escape from life, but as a means of understanding the mind and living more intelligently.

The meaning of the name
Tavamithram Sarvada means “your friend forever”. The name reflects the purpose of this work: not to occupy a throne, gather followers or demand belief, but to offer friendship, clarity and companionship to those sincerely examining life and the mind.
What this platform stands for
This is not an astrological site, a quick-fix platform or a place for unquestioned belief. It is a space for enquiry, responsibility and the practical understanding of the mind.
Clarity before belief
Ideas are to be examined, understood and tested through reason, experience and disciplined enquiry.
Responsibility before helplessness
The principle of cause and effect places attention on choices, habits and the mind one builds.
Oneness before division
Advaita Vedanta points beyond assumed separateness and towards the reality shared by all beings.
Application before performance
The value of Vedanta lies not in outward display, but in fearlessness, steadiness, compassion and intelligent living.
A companion, not a guru
“Call me no guru, no baba or swami, but a companion on this journey, through joy and calamity. A true friend, ever present, my hand I extend.”
