Although the term ‘Maya’ means illusion or magic, the most important interpretation of the term is the unfathomable CREATIVE POWER of the all-pervading absolute Brahman, which is veiled by the relative manifestation world of the Maya.
Since it embodies the seemingly visible world as a whole, the concept of the Maya unites all dualities within itself and encompasses both the positive knowledge (vidya) and the negative ignorance (avidya) of man.
There are two negative aspects of Maya,
a. Its concealing power that hides the truth under a veil, and
b. Its projecting power that makes the truth appear to man as another reality.
Maya is shaped by the Gunas. The veiling comes from the property of the Tamas Guna and the power to push it or project it forward stems from the Rajas Guna.
The easiest way to not be affected by Maya is non-attachment. Clinging to Maya would be like clinging to smoke.
Everything is a dream and, waking up from this great dream can also be called Moksha or dissolving into the Whole.

SBG 7:14 My Divine Maya with the three Gunas of Prakriti, is definitely very difficult to overcome without knowing Me as being situated above them as the immutable Supreme. But only those who take refuge in Me will be able to overcome this illusory energy or Maya.
Recently, someone greeted me saying, “Radhe Radhe” I asked her what that was and what she meant by that. I can understand ‘Jai Shri Krishna, but what is ‘Radhe Radhe’? Who started that? What is the story behind it? Is it because some people believe that Krishna can be easily pleased by going through his ‘lover’? But He has explicitly said in SBG 9:32 that anyone, no matter which gender, caste, or economical status, can directly approach Him. Doesn’t approaching Krishna through his ‘lover’ and not wife resemble the way some businessmen gratify politicians in order to receive special favours from them?
None of you would have ever found me mentioning the name ‘Radha’ or ‘Radhe Radhe’ anywhere in my writings except in this post of mine. This is because I prefer staying on course rather than straying away into bylanes. The lady said to me that people from a group that ‘is CONning’ people usually say that. I said that the Sanatana Dharma is not a religion or cult but it is a timeless eternal path trodden by great wise people who have left behind priceless knowledge and information for us that we could seek guidance and draw inspiration from in order to live a fulfilling life and progress in our Karmic journey towards our ultimate goal of Moksha or dissolving into the Whole. Read SBG.: 9:23, 9:24,
Nevertheless, in order to have some clarity in mind, it would make sense to ask oneself the following questions: Who was Radha? And who was Rukmini? How old was Krishna when He knew Radha and left Gokula? When Krishna is the personification of the Whole, what is the reason to worship Radha or use her name in greetings?
As per the Sanatana Dharma, Shiva and Shakti represent the male and female energies (like Yin and Yang in Chinese culture) Krishna is the personification of the whole (12:05) Krishna is NOT some spirit like being or a bearded man sitting in the clouds! Krishna is the personification of the indefinable, ineffable, and incomprehensible and All-Pervading Brahman without which nothing can ever exist. He is the personification of the SELF in all beings. SBG 10:20, 13:02, 13:28. It is unfortunate that although Krishna Himself has taught Advaita, there are organisations that create new cults, propagate Dvaita, and divide our Vasudheiva Kutumbakam through their ‘we are greater than thou’ methods.
I also asked the lady if she had watched my Q&A video on Sanatana Dharma – In English as well as in Tamil.
The Sanatana Dharma is a highly advanced philosophy that cultists are trying to manipulate and take over. My intention is to bring about more clarity in thinking and not hurt the beliefs of people. When people ask me if I believe in something, all I say is that I am a humble seeker and that even to say ‘I believe in something’ amounts to arrogance. This is because I feel who am I to say I even believe in or not believe in something? How do I know I am right? So, if I claimed to be right it would only mean that all others were wrong, which is nothing but what organised Abrahamic cults also claim.
I feel our aim should be to unite as one in the quest for knowledge and not divide our family through individual beliefs, cults, sects, castes, creeds, babas, ammas, and so on.
I use the Srimad Bhagavad Gita as a manual to lead a life of a seeker with childlike awe and enthusiasm, to help those who are already there in our family understand its great values, and to show outsiders the way into our grand Divine family that has no boundaries, conditions, rules, threats, and punishments as in cults started by humans.
Never blame others or any external factor for the challenges or favourable situations in your life. Your PRESENT is the result of your PAST and your FUTURE will be the result of your PRESENT. Always be responsible.
This video is about the missionary menace that has been plaguing India and many other countries. It is most unfortunate that a lot of people who do not possess any knowledge of even the fundamentals of the Sanatana Dharma and of other organised religions that entered India from other countries, make bold but clichéd statements such as ‘all religions are the same,’ or ‘whichever your religion, follow it thoroughly,’ and so on.
I made my first video on this topic in the Tamil language because I am well aware of the fact that there are numerous powerful and wealthy missionary organisations thriving in the state of TN, especially deep down in the south.
May this video serve as an eye-opener to people who are at risk of being brainwashed by missionaries and other soul traders who live off destroying the lives of others.
This video also strongly urges people to read the Srimad Bhagavad Gita at least once in their lifetime.
May all live as one large Dharmic family – Vasudheiva Kutumbakam.
A Run-through of the Srimad
Bhagavad Gita by Tavamithram
Most issues in life can be easily handled, and even the greatest of challenges can be comfortably overcome simply by altering one’s way of perceiving them. This calls for mastery over one’s own mind.
I call the Srimad Bhagavad Gita the timeless, universal and best mind management manual ever.
This Run-through of the SBG is aimed at quickening and simplifying going through all the 18 chapters of the scripture and comprehending the basic philosophy that it teaches encompassing universal oneness, Karma, Dharma, the nondualistic philosophy of Advaita Vedanta, Fearlessness, Social Responsibility, Respect for Nature, and above all, the highly misunderstood ‘God Concept’ of the Sanatana Dharma.
The Supreme Truth exists equally in all beings thus making all beings equally Divine. There is no being that is inferior or superior to others. The Self in everyone is Krishna or the Supreme Brahman (Ref: Shloka 10:20)
Following the Divine Teachings of Krishna and learning to live the life of a true KarmaYogi are sure to guide a seeker on the path of righteousness through a rewarding and fulfilling life.
May you stay blessed with excellent health, freedom, peace, happiness and prosperity.
Coming to think of it, after centuries of slavery under brutal foreign rulers belonging to barbaric cults, after achieving independence in the year 1947; after Sardar Patel convinced the rulers of 562 princely states to join the Indian union; after being ruled by a plundering dynasty for almost seven decades and being divided in the name of religion, caste, etc.; it is only now that Bharat or India is beginning to get back her truly deserved status in the world. It is thanks to the sincere, arduous, relentless, courageous, visionary, altruistic, patriotic, and socially responsible efforts by the current Indian Prime Minister who is a living example of a true KarmaYogi. In the year 1972, a woman called Linda Darby successfully pulled through an escape from the Indiana State women’s prison. Linda had been sentenced to 30 years in prison for killing her second husband and setting their house on fire to cover up the crime. The escape was bloody in nature in which she got hurt. She was on the run for more than 35 years. READ ON
What a photographer who wishes to shoot a picture usually does include aiming the camera at the subject, turning the dial to adjust the focus, confirming if the light available is sufficient for the exposure, holding the camera steady, and finally shooting. A gunman or an archer also does something similar to what the photographer does except that when he shoots, a projectile is fired out of his weapon unlike what happens in a camera.

This is my first video in Tamil. I plan to do videos in a few other languages that I know.
Two important reasons for the ‘sufferings’ due to challenges that people of the Sanatana Dharma face are due to the fact that a lot of people have a wrong ‘God concept’ and because they do not have a proper understanding of Karma.
This video is a modest attempt of mine to reach out to Tamil speaking people and help them comprehend the basics of the philosophy of the ancient, natural, rational, scientific and amazing Sanatana Dharma, doing which, can help people remove fear, sadness, anger, hatred, aggression and all other such factors that can have no positive effect on their life or in their Karmic journey.
In my PodTalk No. 06 ‘Thoughts, Desires, Passion and Lust’, I said that a thought has two parts, namely the subject and the object. The object is what or who one thinks of and the subject is invariably the false ‘I’ or the false ego which veils the real ‘I’, the ‘Self’ or the consciousness of a person. This false ego is based on the identification of the ‘Self’ with the body along with its attributes such as strength, beauty, general appearance and so on. The false ‘I’ which is seated in the mind, that I call the two-faced trickster, tricks the real ‘Self’ into believing that the false ‘I’ is the real ‘Self’.

MAYA – Illusion or Magic
