तदर्थं कर्म कौन्तेय मुक्तसङ्गः समाचर || ३ ९ ||
yagnyaarthaat karmaNo ‘nyatra
loko ‘yam karma bandhanaha
tadartham karma kauntheya
mukta sangaha samaachara (SBG 3:09)
Man is bound by Karma in the material world because he engages in activities which are not done as a Yajna or sacrifice. Hence O son of Kunti, be free from all bondage and attachment and do your work perfectly well as a Yajnya or sacrifice. (SBG 3:09)

shariira yaathraapi cha the
na prasiddhye dakarmaNaha (SBG 3:08)

Do the duties prescribed for you because action is better than inaction. Even the maintenance of the body cannot be done without doing work. (SBG 3:08)

jitvaa shatroon bhungkshva raajyam samruddham
mayai-vaite nihataaha poorvam-eva
nimitta-maatram bhava savya-saachin (SBG 11:33)
Therefore, get up and attain glory. Conquer your enemies and enjoy a prosperous kingdom. All these warriors have already been destroyed by Me. You are merely an instrument, O Arjuna the ambidextrous one.
