na chainam kledayanty-aapo

vinaasham-avyayas-yaasya

Just as the Atman or soul, which is in the body, passes childhood, youth and old age, it acquires another body after that body dies. Wise people are not baffled by this fact. (SBG 2:13)

Both, attachment and repulsion for sense objects rest in the senses. One should not come under their control because they are obstacles in one’s path towards Self-realisation. (SBG 3:34)

He, who is steady in spite of the never-ending flow of desires just like the ocean is, although so many rivers enter it, can attain peace. But one who is desirous of pleasures cannot achieve peace. (SBG 2:70)
