Tavamithram’s Vedanta Wisdom Chronicles

A Warm Welcome to All

Namaste dear seeker.

Whether you are a new visitor or have been a steadfast companion on this enriching journey, I extend my warmest greetings to you! I trust this message finds you in good health and high spirits. I am delighted to share some exciting news – the launch of my new newsletter and blog on Substack. It is with great enthusiasm that I invite you to be a part of this new chapter.

Journeying Together

Over the course of our journey together, we’ve delved into meaningful discussions, explored profound insights, and nurtured a family of truth-seekers and wisdom enthusiasts. It’s your unwavering support that has led me to this moment, and for that, I am truly grateful.

Embracing the Wisdom of Vedanta

My new Substack newsletter is mainly for those who are ready to embrace a path that goes beyond duality, superstition, and irrational beliefs. If you are someone who seeks to engage with the timeless teachings of Vedanta, a philosophy rooted in reason, logic, and self-discovery, then this space is for you.

A journey not for all

I must emphasise that this journey might not resonate with everyone, and that’s perfectly alright. If you find yourself involved or associated with religious organisations, ‘godmen,’ ‘god women,’ are not mentally or spiritually free, or are seeking something different, I respect your choice. My intention is to create a space where free-thinking, like-minded individuals can come together to explore the profound depths of Vedantic wisdom.

Step into the New Chapter

As of now, the newsletter is free, and there may be a paid section in the future. To access my Substack page and subscribe to my new newsletter, simply click on the image below or on the link provided:

Reclaiming Your Mind: Embracing Rationality Through the Srimad Bhagavad Gita

Sorry for being blunt, but if you hold beliefs in a separate being up there, who is constantly watching and controlling your life—granting your wishes upon prayer and punishing you for not doing so with misfortunes—you might not have attained sufficient mental maturity, are unwilling to employ your innate power of reason, or have been influenced by a cult or religion that prevents you from understanding the true essence of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita.

For the past nine years, I have tirelessly worked to empower everyone, irrespective of gender or social status, with the ability to read, study, and internalise the RATIONAL PHILOSOPHY present in the Srimad Bhagavad Gita. It is knowledge that can be easily grasped if only one remained mentally free.

I won’t elaborate further, but I encourage you to watch this video, which is basically some bonus content added to the 100 selected SBG Shlokas course.

Why would anyone want to be a mental slave to someone or something?

Before you proceed, consider these questions:
1. If Krishna was omnipresent, wouldn’t that mean He resides within me as well? So, why should I search for Him outside myself?

2. If I believe in the existence of beings other than the All-pervading Divine principle, also known as Krishna, does that not negate the existence of Krishna within those beings?

3. Tavamithram taught his son Vedanta from a young age, ensuring the boy’s mind was completely free from irrational dualistic beliefs. Why am I still bound by baseless belief systems forced upon me?

You may now watch the video,

Are you free or are you part of a cult?

Ask yourself: Are you free or are you part of a cult?

Many of us have encountered conflicts arising from differences in religion, sects, and subsects. Have we ever pondered deeply about the root cause of such divisions that lead to hatred and enmity? The answer is rather simple: it stems from individual beliefs. When someone holds a particular belief, it is inevitable that others may hold different beliefs, leading to conflicts and social divisions based on religion, communities, sects, and subsects.

It is sad that this social ailment should be prevalent in India, known for its rich spiritual heritage, encompassing the Vedas, Vedanta, the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, and revered sages like Adi Shankaracharya, Shri Ramana, Swami Vivekananda, among many others. One might ask – how is it that the profound essence of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita has been overshadowed, giving rise to numerous splinter groups that continue to thrive today and perpetuate divisions within the Dharmic society? The answer lies in ignorance—the ignorance of the highest Truth, the All-Pervading Divine Principle.

In the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Krishna guides Arjuna, who symbolises the ordinary person, through the different stages of Karma or action, devotion, and ultimately knowledge—the highest stage. This knowledge, known as Brahmagnyana, pertains to the realisation of the All-Pervading nondual Paramatma or Supreme SELF. Even as early as the 4th chapter, Krishna explicitly reveals this profound Truth: in SBG 4:38, ‘There is certainly nothing more purifying than knowledge. He who is perfect in Yoga finds it in the Self in due course of time.’

I have created this video as a means to evaluate one’s susceptibility to cultist forces. It is aimed at serving as a simple self-assessment tool, allowing individuals to honestly reflect on their own beliefs and influences.

“I do this because this is what my elders have been doing,” is a typical argument given by people, who either do not have the inclination to learn and evolve, or have been trained to never ask questions.

In today’s world, it seems like everything is becoming more complicated than it needs to be. People are drifting away from the core Vedanta philosophy and creating their own sub-organisations and communities, often confusing children and youth about what is truly important in life.

Organised religions have taken advantage of this confusion by capitalising on people’s ignorance of Vedanta, and their desire to find meaning and purpose. They shame children and youth who come from a Dharmic background, of which Vedanta is at the pinnacle. Instead of focusing on the core philosophy of Vedanta, people are getting caught up in the beliefs of foreign religions, which have crept into their consciousness.

The Srimad Bhagavad Gita provides a perfect layout for a productive and fulfilling life, but unfortunately, many people do not fully understand its philosophy. Instead, through social media posts and videos, they are subliminally and also directly forced to fully believe in duality so that the gullible youth could become members of their large organisations. Most such organisations preach messages that are contrary to the teachings of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita.

It is time for people to start simplifying their lives and focusing on the core philosophy of Vedanta. We need to get back to basics and teach our children and youth the true meaning of dharma. By doing so, we can create a world that is more peaceful, harmonious, and fulfilling.

For those who have an open mind and are interested in learning more about the highest philosophy and science of Vedanta, there are resources available to help. Videos, books, and other materials can be found online, providing a wealth of information and knowledge about this ancient philosophy.

Let us all work together to simplify our lives and focus on what truly matters. By doing so, we can create a better world for ourselves, our children, and future generations to come.

This video is meant for people, who have an open mind and would like to experience and learn more about the highest philosophy and science of Vedanta.

Nirvana Shatakam – Shri Adi Shankaracharya

As an eight-year-old boy on a quest to find his guru, he journeyed through the Himalayas and encountered a sage who asked him who he was.

The young boy responded with six Shlokas, which are now called the ‘NirvaaNa Shatakam’. It is also known as the ‘Atma Shatakam.’ ‘Atma’ means the true Self’ and ‘NirvaaNa’ signifies ultimate bliss through complete freedom and absolute peace.

The sage was highly pleased with the young Adi Shankaracharya and accepted him as his disciple. That sage was none other than Shri Govindapada Acharya, whose Guru was Shri Gaupadacharya.

These six Shlokas not only negate all meaningless rites and rituals that people usually perform with the intention of ‘pleasing deities’ but also destroy all kinds of descriptions and attributes that people associate with the ultimate Truth.

These six Shlokas; which are not particularly useful to ritualists, followers of pseudo gurus such as babas and swamies, and other such ‘religious’ people; can greatly help a TRUE seeker who is not willing to settle for anything other than attaining Self-Realisation through the Supreme Truth.
