The evils of Proselytisation/Proselytization.
India is a free country. The freedom one enjoys in the world’s largest democracy is simply incomparable. The Indian constitution is absolutely fair to one and all. Since the time the Indian Constitution has been written, it has been systematically and regularly misrepresented by political parties whose methods of ruling the country were based on the ‘Divide and Rule Policy’ of the British.
Proselytisation activities in Tirumala
Some shameless and ungrateful Indians belonging to foreign faiths go to the extent of destroying the very fabric of the Sanatana Dharma. They target poor people and promise them food and money and convert them to whatever religion theirs is.
I was watching a video of some famous Indian. He used to be a Sanatana Darmi, who converted to another religion after his wife told him about their religious teacher having washed the feet of his guests. Hasn’t this ‘genius man’ ever heard the main rule in Traditional Indian Hospitality, which is अतिथि देवो भवः (Atithi Devo Bhavah) ? It means the ‘Guest is God’ which implies that the guest is treated in the way one would treat God.
Sanatana Dharma is like a massive Banyan tree, and it can never be chopped down. This is the only Dharma which was neither propagated by any particular person nor is it named after any one human being. It is a way of life. It is the one and only scientific way of life in the world. Its scriptures are the highest forms of metaphorisation of all the sciences, truths and principles of life and the universe.
As Karl Marx said, ‘Religion is the Opium of the people’ and megalomaniacs have always used Religion to manipulate and control people’s minds. India – Bharat Varsh has been an easy target for the preachers of various foreign faiths, which capitalised on the basic non-violent attitude of Indians. After decades and decades of being looted and robbed by fraudsters and criminal politicians, India very recently has, under the astute management of the best leader she has ever had, started to see the truth behind her own philosophy.
I fail to understand why many people following other religions want to convert the majority population to their religion instead of being happy and thankful for the freedom everyone has in India. I have also heard of an Indian with a brain probably as big as that of an ant, who would like the entire Indian Police Force to shut its eyes for 15 minutes so that he could ‘finish off’ almost a billion people who don’t follow his religion but follow the Dharma! OMG!
