The 3 Steps to Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Bliss

Please read the text below before watching the video.

If you want something, the only place you can find it is within yourSELF, using your own mental power. That’s what Krishna said in SBG 6:5.

उद्धरेदात्मनात्मानं नात्मानमवसादयेत् |
आत्मैव ह्यात्मनो बन्धुरात्मैव रिपुरात्मनः || ६ ५ ||
uddhare-daat-manaat-maanam
naat-maanam-avasaa-dayet
atmaiva hyaat-mano bandhur-
aatmaiva ripur-aatmanaha (SBG 6:05)

You must lift yourself with your own mind and should not degrade yourself. The mind is a friend as well as the enemy of the Self.

Asking for out-of-turn divine favours has not been taught in the Srimad Bhagavad Gita. Remember that when there is an expectation, there is bound to be pain. This is the case even in personal relationships. By working for what you want, you either get what you worked for, or in the event you do not succeed, you would have at least gained experience.

The two prime takeaways from the Srimad Bhagavad Gita are Nishkaama Karma or selfless action, and Self-Realisation.

The pitiful situation is that most people who are undergoing severe challenges in life, believe that there is some separate external power that ‘gives’ them good or bad. Such a belief is so deep-rooted in the minds of people that it has become the baseline of almost everyone’s thought process, and it is one of the prime causes they find it hard to get solutions to their challenges.

Whereas, once you realise that there is nothing beyond the AHAM ASMI, there are two things that can happen:

  1. You come to terms with your situation and find bliss in it,

    and/or

  2. If you are still left with excessive Rajas along with Sattva, you will think, create and work for the world’s welfare, and through that, attain the final goal

People complain, ‘Why me?’ or ‘Why are the same things happening to me again and again?’ thinking that there is someone up there who is unhappy or cross with them about the actions they did in ‘previous lifetimes’ and is causing them all the trouble. It is true that ‘past Janmas’ are usually the reason given for the good and bad in one’s life, but the fact is that character and behavioural traits stem from genetic information encoded in the linear sequence of nucleotides within DNA.

Strange as it may sound, the thought of victimhood, as a matter of fact, comes from one’s delusion of grandeur that they are separate from nature or some special being and hence are entitled to the ‘good things’ in life!

Patterns repeat simply because one’s attitude attracts certain kinds of events, situations, and people in life. This is where introspection greatly helps. It aids one in finding their traits, which they have assumed to be normal, not realising that it is exactly those traits that are ‘inviting’ those situations in their life.

Never forget that the whole of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita is about fighting this war within one’s own head.

It’s common for people to complicate things unnecessarily, isn’t it? Sadly, the Vedic Dharma, which has Vedanta at its peak, has become a ritualistic religion plagued by fake spiritual leaders and teachers.

As long as there are gullible and ignorant people, there will be manipulative individuals taking advantage of them. Fear and doubt are highly potent tools used for mass manipulation, with concepts such as duality, heaven, sin, paradise, and hell.

Even among those interested in spirituality, many lack the curiosity to explore and learn for themselves, blindly accepting anyone who looks and sounds like a spiritual leader. This wildfire of ignorance is further fanned by the theatrical costumes, hair, gait, and other such features that famous ‘godmen’ and ‘godwomen’ possess and use.

I would say that adults who force their children to believe in literal interpretations of scriptures such as the Puranas, Mahabharata, Ramayana, and even the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, cause significant damage to their intelligence, intellect, and overall psyche.

Instead, we can teach children philosophy by explaining the allegory behind each character, as I did with my son. By gaining SELF-knowledge, we can lead an enriching, fulfilling, and joyful life, free of fear and doubt, and an eternal state of mind that is full of awe and gratitude towards nature.

Vedanta is the highest stage of Vedic studies for people with questions about life, existence, and death. It’s simple to find the necessary resources online, such as PDF files of the various Upanishads.

One of my previous posts and videos titled “The two truths in life” can also help clear up impurities in the mind in the form of dualities, non-Vedantic and irrational beliefs, fears, and all kinds of negative emotions which can be highly destructive to individuals.

When seeking answers in medicine, isn’t it natural and sensible to ask a qualified and experienced medical professional rather than a sixth-grader who excels at biology? Not understanding the allegory in Vedic scriptures and taking them literally is like remaining in grade six or so and refusing to go higher.

This presentation ‘The 3 Steps to Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Bliss,’ is aimed at making things further uncomplicated to turn life into a Healthy, Happy, Peaceful, Fearless, and Fulfilling one.

DO NOT COMPLICATE LIFE! IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR LIMITED TIME!

One more thing, particularly for people above forty or so: Age is merely a number, and therefore, how young or old you feel depends purely on how and what you feel about yourself and how well you care for your body and mind. Follow the three steps and you will be fine.

Thank you.

Stay blessed.

Jai Shri Krishna.

It gives me great joy when someone like this person has captured the most important feature of my SBG courses – The ease to complete the entire SBG and attain the satisfaction of having done it. A comment from someone who took the A.G.E Course created and published by me on Udemy caught my attention today. The comment of that person is given below.

What you might have heard from others does not concern me but I must say the following: I am of the opinion that since you will anyway need to read the Srimad Bhagavad Gita multiple times in life, why not just aim at completing it at least once and then go for studying it in detail? Unfortunately, most people do not follow this method and go for big fat copies of the SBG sold or distributed by large ‘Gita organisations’. They do not manage to cross a couple of pages of the life-changing scripture, and they put it away either in their ‘puja room’ or any other place thinking they would open it again after they turn 60 or something! Their ignorance of the Supreme Philosophy of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita makes them believe frauds posing as great spiritual teachers, and of course, they fall for silly WhatsApp forwards that talk absolute nonsense.

When my son was approximately five or six years old, I introduced him to the Srimad Bhagavad Gita. I made sure to explain the story to him as an allegory from the start. When he turned ten years old, he astounded me by providing a synopsis of the entire Srimad Bhagavad Gita. It has had a profound impact on his character and decision-making abilities. He now values the significance of remaining composed, refraining from being swayed by emotions, rejecting flattery, and carrying out his actions with social responsibility. He will turn 19 in August 2023.

A wealth of material that I have created is accessible at no cost on my websites and YouTube channel, and is also obtainable in the form of low-priced paperbacks, audiobooks, and Udemy courses.

Don’t wait for anything or anyone. Start your study of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita now.

Vedanta is cool

Please read the text below and then watch the video. Thanks

Have you noticed that people who usually teach ‘spiritual stuff’ are mostly dressed in a particular way, speak in a certain style, and pretend to know everything? They belittle others, create their own stories and concepts, have strange markings on their faces, wear flowing robes and move around in the company of wealthy people, and claim that theirs is the only way to salvation.

Such people thrive primarily due to the ignorance of the masses, which stems from their lack of exposure to the highest science of all sciences, namely, Vedanta.

The Upanishads of the Vedas are known as Vedanta. The term Vedanta means the peak, end or goal of the Vedas. The Srimad Bhagavad Gita is known as the nectar of the Upanishads because it takes a seeker through a systematic study of selfless and righteous action, and the realisation of the formless, timeless, eternal, and all-pervading non-dual SELF, Atma, Brahman, or Krishna.

It is ignorance of the Upanishads that leads people to take allegories in the literal sense and waste their lives in meaningless rites and rituals.

Never forget the following two crucial facts about performing any religious rite or ceremony.

  1. All rites and rituals are done with a goal in mind, or in other words, there is some expectation or other.
  2. Doing anything expecting results is not Nishkaama Karma and goes against SBG 2:47
    कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन |
    मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि || २ ४७ ||
    karmaNye vaadhikaras te
    maa phaleshu kadaachana
    maa-karma-phala-hetur-bhuur-
maa te sango ‘stva karmaNi (SBG 2:47)

You only have the right to work, but never to claim its results. The results of your actions should never be your motive but at the same time, you should not be attached to inaction.

When Shri Adi Shankara was hardly eight years of age, he gave the Nirvaana Shatakam which summarises the whole of Advaita Vedanta in merely six Shlokas. I find it truly disturbing to observe that even after over fifteen centuries have passed, most people are still far behind compared to the thoughts and philosophy of life of the great sage when he was just a young boy. To add to the misery, there are famous self-styled ‘gurus’ who have their own cult-like following, who concoct their own stories and sell them to the ignorant masses.

Knowing, understanding and internalising the basic Truth of non-duality can be achieved very easily.
This has been confirmed in Shloka SBG 9:02
राजविद्या राजगुह्यं पवित्रमिदमुत्तमम् |
प्रत्यक्षावगमं धर्म्यं सुसुखं कर्तुमव्ययम् || ९ २ ||
raaja-vidyaa raaja-guhyam
pavitra mida-muttamam
pratyakshaa-vagamam dharmyam
su-sukham kartu mavyayam (SBG 9:02)

This is the Royal science, the supremely holy and profound secret that can be experienced directly and with ease. It is easy to practise and is everlasting.

What is the point in complicating things, making life harder and wasting it on things that are of no use to anyone?

DALL·E 2023-03-12 20.27.57 - Draw a colour sketch of a dog with wings flying in the sky along with some birdsDALL·E 2023-03-12 20.28.27 - Draw a fish crawling up the trunk of a tree from waterJust as there are certain undisputable facts, such as the one that a fish can never climb a tree or a dog can never fly along with birds, it also needs to be firmly understood that THERE IS NOT, and THERE CANNOT, be anything beyond the ultimate bodiless awareness of ‘I AM’. If you have watched my video titled: ‘Unlocking the Deepest Secrets of Your TRUE SELF: The “My Car and I” Analogy’, you would have come across the mental experiment that I did many years ago when I attained the experience of ‘Aham Asmi’ – or ‘I AM’. It takes just about ten to fifteen minutes to be the true attributeless awareness or the SELF.

Please follow the steps that I have suggested and know that I have successfully carried all of them out. Like I always say, first aim to complete reading the scriptures (PDFs) that I have suggested. You will anyway need to go back to them multiple times to study them in detail, so don’t waste time trying to understand each and every Shloka before proceeding forward.

It is due to the bizarre rites and rituals, and the inability of many so-called ‘religious leaders’ to give satisfactory answers to their questions, that children and youth feel disenchanted and disinterested about anything related to the Vedic Sanatana Dharma.

It starts with all the dramatic clothing that they wear! A couple of decades ago, I used to sport a beard and long hair. My friends and I once decided to carry out a simple social experiment. I wore an orange dhoti, and applied kumkum and vibhuti on my forehead. I also wore a thick Rudraksha garland and wore no footwear. My friends and I went to a certain temple. Once we completed the darshana, we came out, and I sat on a large block of stone placed just outside the temple square. My friends sat on the ground and pretended to be my followers and sat reverentially before me. In a matter of about thirty minutes, there were at least fifty people, including some elderly women seated before me. A few of them even prostrated before me!

A week later, I decided to shave. I went back to the same place with my friend but sans my beard, the orange clothes, kumkum and vibhuti, in place of which I wore a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. I repeated the same thing that I did earlier, but this time, not only did no one sit before me, but people hardly looked towards me where I was seated.

Such is the power of the typical ‘Babaji get-up’ adorned by ‘religious and holy’ people.

The principle I follow is pretty simple. Whatever I write on my website or talk about in my videos are about things that I have already tried out and well internalised. The other thing is that whatever I say or write needs to pass the test of being acceptable to my son, who was born and raised in Europe. His strength, however, is that I introduced him to Vedanta as early as when he was five or six. At eleven, he could give a precise synopsis of the entire Srimad Bhagavad Gita in a scientific and rational manner.

My work mainly involves nudging people to wake up from their slumber of spiritual ignorance, escape mentally enslaving cultist influences, start reading and studying on their own, and quickly find a way to ultimate bliss through mental peace that stems from knowledge and understanding.

Unlocking the Deepest Secrets of Your TRUE SELF: The “My Car and I” Analogy!

Please read below before watching the video. Thank you.

On the internet, there are numerous self-proclaimed “gurus,” “swamies,” “babas,” “ammas,” and others who loudly urge individuals to “believe” in them, in some god, tradition, and so on. They offer guidance on dealing with life’s problems, relationship issues, financial troubles, and other emotional concerns.

However, most of these supposedly “enlightened beings” fail to suggest that people should actually READ and UNDERSTAND the Srimad Bhagavad Gita or any of the Upanishads.

People love hearing stories, in part because it reminds them of their childhood, and because regardless of age, the child within them continues to live.

Asking someone to believe in something and pray to someone or something else, and request unearned favours or miracles, is like administering a strong psychedelic substance to a sick or injured person instead of attempting to aid their recovery.

What is worse is that each of these “gurus,” “swamis,” “babas,” “ammas,” and others espouse teachings that contradict one another. This leads to societal divisions such as the “my god” and “your god” problem, or the all-too-familiar “holier than thou” attitude.

These self-proclaimed “religious or spiritual teachers” invariably lead the masses far away from the intellectual path that was laid out for us by wise rishis of the past. These rishis spent their entire lives studying, researching, analysing, and comprehending fundamental truths about the SELF and life.

Attempting to find solutions to the trivial challenges of life or seeking ways to calm one’s mind, which is in a turbulent state mainly due to a lack of understanding of the most essential truth of existence, can never provide sustainable results. It would be logical, scientific, and effective to turn to Vedanta and study the roots of everything.

Vedanta is the path to dispel all myths, superstitions, and irrational beliefs, and doing so will immediately result in peace of mind and a state of bliss.

This video is intended to help people realise that they are pure subjective awareness and break free from all their childish beliefs in stories that are intended to serve merely as allegories.

Liberate yourselves from the darkness of fears and uncertainties caused by neglecting the study of the SELF.
